Marcella Lyon

Funeral service for Marcella Ann Lyon, age 78, of Commerce will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville, Texas, with a visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Leonard Cemetery. Mrs. Lyon passed away on May 15, 2021.

Ann was born October 27, 1942 in Yantis to Melvin and Euta Lee (Passons) Morris. She married Paul Lyon on January 8, 1966, in Wolfe City. Together, they had one son, Morris. Ann worked as maintenance and as a custodian in the local schools.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; son Morris Lyon and wife Holly; granddaughters Lilly Long, Ally Lyon; Sister Pansy Gaskill and husband Dale; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents.
