Willie Maden

Katherine Maden, 98, went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 3. 2021. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 2 PM. at the Kopperl Cemetery, Kopperl, Texas.

She was born September 3, 1922 in Kopperl, Texas.  Katherine married Henry Maden in Santa Fe , New Mexico on Feb 5, 1942.

Surviving are her son Charles Maden and his wife Sue of Irving, Texas.  Grandchildren Kim Humberd and husband Jessie of Tennessee.  Kevin Maden , wife Jamie and his mother Judith Maden  of Florida,.  Great grandchildren Julie, Doug and JoAnna Humberd of Tennessee and Ethan Maden of Florida, sisters Louise Eades (96) and, Nannie Jo Rowe (94) of Texas  Nieces & nephews and many cousins.

Preceded in death by her husband in 1989.  Her grandparents Will & Nannie Love Bynum and 10 Bynum uncles and wives.  Parents Burrell and Johnnie Lee Bynum Johnson. Precious aunt Lucy Yates of Kopperl who helped raise Katherine and her two sisters after their mother died.  Also, special Cousin Sammy Bynum.

She held 2 offices in the Women's Missionary Union District 13. Later joined the  Hunt County Missionary Unit where she also, held 2 offices.  Starting In 1977 she held a bible study at Oak Manor and three more nursing homes in Greenville, Texas for 7 years.  Earning 2 service pins, from Austin Texas, one with a diamond, for 5 thousand hours of services.
