Travis Gann, 86, of Greenville passed away, Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Greenville, TX.
Tavis was born in Mexia, TX on July 20, 1931 to Travis and Thelma Barrett Gann. He has been happily married to his wife Oleta Weaver Gann for 66 years, they were married on April 14, 1951 in Greenville, TX. Travis served our country in the US Navy for 6 years. After serving he was an engineer for E-Systems for over 20 years. On retirement in 1995 they moved to their lake home on Cypress Springs Lake in Mt Vernon, TX, they were there some 25 years. Travis' failing health brought them back to Greenville.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Oleta Gann; sons, Michael Gann and wife, Robin, Scott Gann, and wife, Sally; daughters, Lisa More and husband, Randy, and Susan Beisel; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Stephen Ministry Organization. First United Methodist Church
