Tala Horton

Tala Joelle Horton, of Celeste, Texas, passed away January 27, 2012 at her home. She was born June 22, 1998, in Durant, Oklahoma to the parents of Virgil Horton and Betty Smith Horton. She is survived by her mother Betty Horton; five sisters, Lois Sasser of Celeste, Margie Teague of Greenville, Tina Gillespie of Celeste, Rhonda Riskey of Celeste, and Shelby Horton of Celeste and brother Byron Garcia of Celeste. She was preceded in death her father Virgil; grandparents David and Ola Horton and Melvin and Cleo Harper. Services will be Tuesday January 31, 2012 at 2 PM in the chapel of Peters Funeral Home with Jeff Wooten officiating. Interment will be at Hogeye Cemetery in Celeste Texas. Visitation was held Monday night at Peters Funeral Home.
