Sherry Villarreal

Sherry Lynne Villarreal, age 55, of Greenville, passed away in the early evening hours of Saturday, April 2, 2011 at her home, in the care of her loving husband. She was born on February 27, 1956 in Monett, Missouri to Wilbur and Lucille Brown Pflanz. Sherry married Richard Villarreal in Copperas Cove, Texas on December 2, 1977, he survives. She used her love of people and caring spirit in her daily life as a registered nurse. Sherry also took pride in the countless hours she spent as an adolescent and substance abuse counselor. In her free time she would often times be found shopping, decorating her home, or watching her shows on television. Sherry was a member of the Roman Catholic faith. Sherry is survived by her husband of over 33 years, Richard; one daughter, Sara Lawson and husband Mike of Wyandotte, OK; and three grandchildren, Aimee, Kaytlyn, and Mikey; one step-sister, Ada Rose Nalley; and by her constant companion and puppy, Beau. She was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Ryan Hopkins. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 A.M., Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Aldersgate Church in Greenville.
