Sherry Ann Stidham, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2023 at her residence. She was born on July 29th, 1955 in Langley, VA.

Sherry led a fulfilling life and touched the hearts of everyone she met. For over 10 years, she dedicated her time and talents as a teller at Fannin Federal Credit Union. Sherry was known for her exceptional service and warm smile which made all who visited the bank feel welcome.

Outside of her career, Sherry's true joy came from spending quality time with her family and friends. She treasured every moment shared with her loved ones and created countless memories that will forever be cherished. Whether it was organizing family gatherings or simply enjoying an evening together at home, Sherry's presence filled the room with love and happiness.

One of Sherry's biggest passions in life was traveling. She particularly enjoyed embarking on road trips with her adoring husband, James. Exploring new places, discovering hidden gems, and creating adventures together brought them immense joy and strengthened their bond even further.

Sherry has left behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire all those she held dear. She was a woman with a heart of gold—always compassionate and quick to lend a helping hand. Sherry's kind nature made it easy for others to feel comfortable in her presence; she had an uncanny ability to brighten anyone's day with just a few words or an infectious laugh.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Stidham; sons Nicholas Stidham and his wife Jennifer, James Kiel Stidham and his wife Carlie; daughter Cheryl Casselton and her husband Phillip; sister Donna Evans and her husband David; brothers Jimmy McDonald and his wife Mary and Randy Shiplett. Sherry also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who were the lights of her life.

Sherry was preceded in death by her son, James Daniel Stidham and her parents James and Rita McDonald.

Sherry Ann Stidham will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we honor her memory, let us remember to carry her kindness, warmth, and love within us and share it with the world in her honor.
