Sandra Clayton

Sandra Jane Clayton, 56, passed away January 1, 2012 in Greenville Texas. She was born on August 14, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia to Harold Strickland and Nellie Beatonbow. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Clayton of Campbell; three daughters, Marcia Pineda of Plano, Candy Birgy of Fife Lakes, Michigan and Gracie Payne of Sulphur Springs; one son Chad Clayton of Greenville; mother Nellie Strickland of Rex, Georgia; four sisters, Barbara Smith of Georgia, Mary Jane Thompson of Georgia, Christine Strickland of Camden, SC and Gail; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father Harold Strickland; three bothers, Lee Bonds, David Strickland and Bubba Strickland. Services will be held Thursday January 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Peters Funeral Home. Internment is at Mt. Carmel in Wolf City. Rev. David Hammonds will be officiating. Visitation will be held Wendsday January 4, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM.
