Ruby “Monu” Adams
November 20, 1943 – Feb22, 2026
Ruby Adams, 82, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, in Greenville, Texas. Ruby was born on November 20, 1943, and spent the majority of her life in Texas and Oklahoma.
She devoted her life to caring for others and sharing love and laughter wherever she went. She started her career as a hair dresser, then moving onto nursing and eventually retiring from TriCare as a healthcare finder for the US military. She took great pride in her work as Director of Nurses at several Texas Nursing Centers. Her patients loved her and she cared for them all like family. When she wasn’t caring for others, she could be found spending time with her large family, enjoying a mixed drink, playing cards, fishing, playing Bingo or travelling to the nearest casino for more adventures! She kept us all on our toes with her spunk and her feisty spirit.
She is mother to one son, 6 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was one of 7 siblings. Her devotion to her family was second to none.
Ruby is survived by her son Wesley Dean Fajerson and wife Jill of Rowlett, Texas, grandchildren Chaney and husband Josh Mallory of Richardson, Texas; Chaz (Riley) Fajerson, of Richardson, Texas; Lauren (Faith de Jong) Braucht, of Colorado Springs Colorado; Dillion Adams, of Winnsboro Texas; Jack Adams, of Winnsboro, Texas; and Cavin Taylor, of Mineola, Texas; two great grandchildren, Camryn Mallory of Richardson, Texas; Justin Mallory, of Richardson, Texas, daughter in law, Christy Taylor Fajerson of Mineola, Texas, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddy Merle Adams; parents, Rupert and Shirley Cooley; brothers, Jack Cooley and George Cooley; sisters, Mary Ellen Bartz, Pallie Sue Riley, Ennise Richardson, and Susie Neumann.
She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile that brightened every room, her adventurous spirit and the selfless love she poured into everyone around her. She was truly a gift from God, and her loss leaves an emptiness in our hearts that will remain until we meet again.
