Ronney Joe Garlington

Ronney Joe Garlington, age 68, passed away on February 1, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and will miss him dearly.

Born on June 30, 1957, Ronney was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and great-uncle. He is survived by his mother, Jo Garlington; his brothers, Rick Garlington and his husband, Matthew Raker, and Rudey Garlington and his wife, Marni Garlington. He was a proud uncle to Shea Gray and her husband, Brandon Gray; Lauren Fiscal and her husband, Romario Fiscal; Katie Garlington and her partner, Blake Willis; and Carson Garlington. He was especially proud of his great-nephews, Bentlee Garlington, Boone Gray, and Baker Gray, and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them.

Ronney was preceded in death by his father, Harry Garlington, and his brother, Roger Garlington.

A carpenter by trade, Ronney worked with his hands and took pride in his work. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, fishing, and most of all, time spent with family and friends.

Ronney will be remembered for his loyalty to those he loved, and the quiet ways he showed he cared. His memory will live on in the stories shared, and the family who carries him in their hearts.
