Roianne Henry, a devoted wife, loving mother, and faithful servant of God, peacefully passed away on September 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 17, 1940, in Gainesville, Texas, to Roy and Mary Katherine Hasty, Roianne lived a life full of grace, kindness, and deep compassion.
Roianne spent over 20 years as a talented cosmetologist, bringing beauty not only to the outside but touching the hearts of everyone who sat in her chair. She was known for her gentle nature, joyful spirit, and warm heart. Soft-spoken yet full of light, Roianne carried herself with a quiet strength and unwavering faith. She was truly a woman of God.
Her faith was the foundation of her life. She loved her church dearly and cherished every moment spent in fellowship, worship, and Bible study. Her church family held a very special place in her heart, and she found great joy in sharing the word of God with others. Roianne was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society, where her vibrant personality and joyful presence shone brightly.
Roianne found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo and cards, going fishing, and cheering for her beloved Dallas Cowboys — even when they let her down. Her Bible was never far from reach, and her days were often filled with scripture, prayer, and spiritual reflection.
One of Roianne's most unique and endearing traits was her love for her poodles. Each one, no matter when they came into her life, was lovingly named "Tiffers" — a sweet reminder of how deeply she loved her pets and how she kept their memories alive in her heart.
Her proudest accomplishment was raising her five children, and she considered it her greatest joy to spend her life with her loving husband, Robert Henry. Together, they built a life grounded in love, family, and faith.
Roianne is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Henry; her sons, William Mark Smith and Kennith Allen Smith; her daughter, Terisa Darlene Smith; her sister, Elaine Price; her brother, Roy Hasty; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren — all of whom carry her legacy in their hearts.
She is now reunited in Heaven with her parents, Roy and Mary Katherine Hasty; her beloved daughters, Glenda Toppings and Nancy Kilough; her precious granddaughter, Rena Goodfellow; her sisters, Kay Peters and Paula Freeman; and her brothers, Jerry, Charles, Joe, and Dewey Hasty.
Roianne's life was a testament to love, faith, and kindness. Her gentle spirit, warm hugs, and joyful laughter will be missed beyond measure. Though she has left this earthly home, her light will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
"Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord." — Matthew 25:23
