Roberta “Ann” Harvey, age 83, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026.


Ann was born on January 15, 1943, in Oklahoma to Robert Thomas and Gertrude Thomas. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, James “Sonny” Harvey, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, devotion, and treasured memories. Together, they built a family centered on love, faith, and lasting traditions that will continue for generations.


Ann is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Edwards of Commerce and Melanie McGee of Greenville; her grandchildren, Somer High and husband, Chevis, of Greenville; Devon Edwards and wife, Kaylea, of Lone Oak; Miescha Hill; and Shaun Gilreath; her great-grandchildren, Michael Wylie and wife, Vera; Xakarie Wylie; Brittany Clark; Allie Leon; Caleb Edwards; MacKenzie Edward, Kaysie Edwards; Laila Baker; Skyleigh Baker; and Aiden Hill; her great-great-grandson, Kaden Wylie; her sister, Linda Claude and husband, Mike; her brother, David Thomas and wife, Loretta; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.


Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Harvey; her parents, Robert and Gertrude Thomas; and her brother, Larry Thomas.


Ann will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her kind heart, and the countless memories she created with those she loved. She had a special love for animals, especially her cherished dogs, Rosie, Spike, and Bayleigh, who were never far from her side and held a special place in her heart. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the many lives she touched.


In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to Greenville Animal Shelter in Roberta's memory.
