Rita Todd - A Shining Light in Our Lives' it is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rita Todd, a woman whose presence lit up the lives of all who knew her. Rita departed from this world on February 5, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy that will forever be treasured. Her departure has created a void that can never be filled, but her life will continue to inspire and guide us.

Rita was born on November 30, 1957, in the beautiful city of Boise, Idaho. From an early age, her warm-heartedness and nurturing nature shone through. She grew up in a loving family alongside her brother Jerry Lamb, who was always by her side as they experienced life's adventures together.

Rita's love for caring for others led her to pursue a career as a caregiver and kitchen manager. With unwavering dedication and compassion, she selflessly devoted herself to ensuring the well-being of those under her care. Whether it was providing comfort to the elderly or bringing joy to children, Rita's nurturing presence created an atmosphere of love and support.

Outside of her professional life, Rita found immense joy in two particular passions – her beloved dogs and cooking. Her dogs were not just pets to her; they were cherished companions who provided loyalty and unconditional love. Rita's culinary talents were unparalleled - she was a true master in the kitchen. Her meals brought happiness and comfort to countless friends and family members who eagerly looked forward to tasting her creations.

Rita's magnetic personality attracted numerous friends into her life. She built deep connections with those around her through kindness, empathy, and generosity. Richard Todd was fortunate enough to become Rita's husband and their love story was one for the ages. Their unwavering bond served as an inspiration to all couples who aspire for true partnership, unwavering support, and boundless affection. Theirs was a love that surpassed any obstacle thrown their way.

Rita's legacy lives on through her children, Benjamin Todd and Robert Todd. Benjamin was blessed to have Rita as a mother, and her nurturing spirit continues to guide him as he journeys through life. Robert will forever cherish moments spent with his mother as well before passing through the pearly gates.  Rita's love for her sons knew no bounds, and their presence in her life brought immeasurable joy.

In addition to her immediate family, Rita leaves behind surviving brothers Larry Lamb and Terry Lamb, along with her nephew Jeremy Lamb, nieces Jennifer Lamb and Shirley Lamb. They will forever carry the memory of Rita in their hearts, drawing strength from the love they shared with her.

Rita Todd's time on Earth may have come to an end, but the impact she made during her life will never fade. Her radiant smile, tender touch, and compassionate heart will remain etched in our memories forever. As we gather together to mourn the loss of such an extraordinary woman, let us also celebrate the beautiful life that she lived.
