Rita Marlene Tapper

Rita Marlene Tapper, a beloved homemaker and bookkeeper, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2023, in the serene town of Lavon. Born on March 31, 1934, in the charming city of Pacagoula, Mississippi,  Rita's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rita's warm and kind-hearted nature endeared her to everyone she met. With a genuine smile that could brighten the gloomiest of days, she made each person feel cherished and valued. Her welcoming spirit was like a gentle embrace, providing solace to those who sought comfort in her presence. Rita had an extraordinary ability to connect with people; her compassionate nature fostering bonds that would stand the test of time.

Family meant everything to Rita. She treasured every moment spent alongside loved ones and especially adored doting on her grandchildren. Their laughter filled her heart with immeasurable joy, and she reveled in their company. In addition to being a devoted caregiver, Rita pursued hobbies that brought her joy and contentment. Additionally, her grandson Chad Tapper remains forever grateful for the unwavering love and support she gave him. Rita's light continues to shine through the lives of her grand and great-grandchildren, who will carry her spirit with them throughout their own journeys.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Tapper.
