Rhauda Bousman

Rhauda Raye S. Bousman, age 59, of Caddo Mills, went to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of July 29, 2010 at Methodist Dallas Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. She was born on January 8, 1951 in Newport, Arkansas to Clyde and Nema Mae Sherrell Davis, whom preceded her in death. Raye married Keith Roth Bousman in North Little Rock, Arkansas on September 11, 1982 and together spent the next 27 years raising a family and sharing a bond few have ever known. She had a love for animals and a sense of humor that contributed to her being a loving and compassionate wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest passions were riding horses and spending time with her grandchildren. Raye was very active at the Floyd Baptist Church and cherished the times she shared with her church family and Sunday School Class. The love she had for her family and her faith in Christ will leave lasting memories in the hearts of all she touched. Mrs. Raye Bousman is survived by her husband Keith Bousman of Caddo Mills; children, James Bryan Mathis of Greenville, David Scott Rudd, and wife Mary, of Oklahoma City, OK, Melody Ann Penick, and husband Justin, of Lufkin, and Nicole Leigh Bousman Scallia, and husband Brandon, of Merit; and grandchildren, Ryan Mathis, Jayden Mathis, David Scotty Rudd, Jr., Skylur Rudd, Miranda Penick, J.T. Penick, Kimberly Penick, and John Penick. She was also preceded in death two brothers, Marcus Edward Davis and Ronald Clyde Davis. Services for Raye Bousman will be held at 10 A.M., Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Danny Moore officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 " 5 P.M., Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
