Raymond Rippy

Raymond Arlis Rippy Sr., 77 of Greenville Texas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Raymond was born on October 14, 1936 to John and Lula Rippy in New Edinburg, Arkansas. Raymond would serve his country with honor and distinction in the National Guard. He would meet and later marry Elizabeth Spradling - the love of his life. Raymond worked for and later retire from Imperial Warehouse in Denver, Colorado after twenty years of service. Raymond is survived by Elizabeth Rippy - his wife of fifty-five years; daughter Brenda Rippy-Chambers; son Raymond Rippy, Jr.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well many extended family member, friends and neighbors. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lula Rippy; brothers, Sidney, Jessie and Freddy Rippy. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, June 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. The interment will be at Forest Park Cemetery immediately following the service.
