Paula Frances Cranford, age 66, of Quinlan, passed away in the early evening hours of Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at her home. She was born on October 18, 1944 in Dallas, TX to Paul and Frances (Nevil) Poston, they preceded her in death. Paula married Doyle H. Cranford, Sr. on February 4, 1972 at their home in Quinlan. Together they shared the next 38 years raising a family and making a lifetime of memories that will carry on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. A homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to everyone she came in contact with. Her caring spirit and strong shoulders were always available to those in need, whether it be to cry on or just lend an ear. Paula loved to garden and cook but if you asked her, she would tell you her greatest love was her family. She took great pride in taking care of everyone, especially her husband. She was the glue that kept her family together. Paula was a strong Christian woman who loves the Lord; she was a member of the Johnson Street Church of Christ in Greenville. Paula is survived by her husband, Doyle H. Cranford, Sr.; children, Doyle Cranford, Jr. of Irving, Glen Cranford and wife Deborah of Mesquite, Michelle Greer and husband Bobby of Wylie, Danielle Deal of Plano, Rhonda Moody and husband Tim of Ladonia, and Robin Cranford of Searcy, AR; grandchildren, Derek Cranford, Cody Cranford, Jamie Cranford, Corrina Ruth McGuire and husband Cody, Christopher Cruz Cranford, Cameron Wayne Cranford, Doyle Eugene Deal, Michael Keith Deal and wife Elizabeth, Vanessa Michelle Moody, Paul Michael Moody, Britt Doyle Moody, and Paula Lynn Moody; great-grandchildren, Matthew McGuire, Justin McGuire, and Lyla Deal; and brothers, Morris Poston of Quinlan and Jim Poston and wife Mabel of Trophy Club. Services for Paula Cranford will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Johnson Street Church of Christ with Randy Daw officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. Visitation will be from 6 " 8 P.M. Friday evening at Peters Funeral Home.
