Patsy Quick

Patsy Ruth Quick, age 77, of Greenville, passed away in the late morning hours of Sunday, December 5, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 10, 1933 in Panola County, Texas to Gussie and Mabel Gomillion McLemore, they preceded her in death. Patsy married Thomas C. Quick in Houston in 1963 and together they raised a family and supported each other until his passing in 2002. Ms. Quick owned and operated her own upholstery business. Those who knew her will remember her for her creative mind, tireless work, and dedication. In her later years, Patsy took up genealogy and published a book on the subject. She was a member of the Christian faith. Ms. Quick is survived by children, Raymond Quick, Sr., and wife Sandy, of Midland City, OK, Patricia Babbette-Quick of Greenville, and Sandra Huff, and husband Larry, of Greenville; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Tina Marie Quick and Mata Katherine Quick. A visitation for Ms. Quick will be held from 6 " 8 P.M., Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Peters Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at DFW National Cemetery in a private service.
