Ouida Faye St.Clair, beloved wife, mother, Nanny and daughter was a resident of Dallas, Texas and passed away after a long, hard-fought battle with dementia on May 5, 2025 at the age of 83 years old.
Ouida is survived by four children, son Bret St.Clair of Dallas, son Bryan St.Clair (Jennifer) of Decatur, son Michael (Michelle) of Rowlett, daughter Ivey Morgan (Jimmy) of Wylie. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Stephanie (Donnie) Alaniz of Ft. Worth, Kyle (Kalenna) St.Clair of Dallas, Kevin (Gena) St.Clair of Dallas, Bailey (Corey) McCarrell of Forney, Michael (Rachael) of Rowlett, Peyton (Conner) of Richardson, Lanie, Lindsey and Leah Morgan of Wylie, and granddaughter Anessa (Tommy) Ford of Red Oak. She is also survived by many great and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by husband, Bryant “Lee” St.Clair, father, Harvey Lawless, mother, Maybell Starrett, sister Bernice Dell White and step-daughter, Teresa StClair.
Ouida was born on June 25, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She married Bryant “Lee” St.Clair on May 31, 1958 and had four children. Ouida was an outstanding southern cook and devoted mother and grandmother. She was affectionately known as Nanny to all.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at the Mt Zion Methodist Church located at 1174 CR 328, DeBerry, Texas 75639 on Tuesday, May 27 at 10:00 am.
