Opal Eye

Opal M. Eye, 84, Denton, formerly of Greenville, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton. Mrs. Eye was born on March 19, 1925 in Bossier City, La to Einar and Lillie Mae Larsen. Opal is survived by two daughters, Linda Dazenko and husband Donald of Sherman, and Connie Lane and husband Sony of Haslet, one son Einar Eye and wife Franca of Greenville, Grandchildren, Diane Tschetter and husband Mark of Rockwall, Amanda Jacobs and husband Alan of Crowley, Travis Lane of Haslet, Emily Eye of Ft. Worth, and Zachariah Eye of Greenville, three sisters, Doris Angele, Norma Foster, and Joyce Marie Sausley, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oval Eye, parents, one sister, Lillian Teets, and one grandson, Randy Hammond. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Peters Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Edge officiating. Burial will follow in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 at Peters Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
