Neil Dent

Neil "PaPa" Dent 70, of Lone Oak passed away, Monday March 20, 2017 in Plano. Neil was born in Waco, Texas, on April 16, 1946 to Lois "Bill" and Violet Elsie Dent. He married JoAnne Moon on January 18, 1977 in Quinlan, Texas. Neil was a loving husband and father and was dedicated to Law Enforcement and the communities he served.

Those left to Cherish his memory are wife JoAnne Dent; sons Billy Joe Dent, Jamey Neil Dent, and wife Tanya; daughters Hope LeAnne Strang, and husband Tommy, and Kirsten LeAnne Dent; grandchildren Karissa, Miranda, Kelly, Alaina, Kelsie, Aleah, Haylie, Abby; sisters, Gail Johnson, and husband Mike, and Jessie Gail Howell, and significant other, Danny ; brothers, Robert Dent, and Frank Howell, and wife J'nell; uncle Sonny Thompson, and wife Pauline; and many more of PaPa's grand kids, family members, and friends.

Memorial services for Neil Dent will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Bull Creek Cowboy Church in Lone Oak with Pastor Sam Calk officiating.
