Nannie Henley

Nannie Lorine Henley, age 97, of Boerne, Texas (formerly of Greenville), passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Town and Country Assisted Living Center in Boerne. She was born on October 6, 1913 to Charlie Vance and Nannie Elizabeth (Quattlebaum) Morgan, they preceded her in death. She married John Marvin Henley on January 15, 1946 in Greenville and together they spent the next 52 years making a lifetime of memories together. He preceded her in death on September 15, 1998. Lorine loved to garden and enjoyed her flowers but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Caney Methodist Church since 1942. Lorine is survived by one sister, Mary Henley of Boerne, TX; one brother, Frank Morgan, and wife Freda, of Ft. Worth; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Henley of Mustang, Ok; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close cousins. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Morgan and Roy Morgan, and by one sister, Pauline Taylor. Services for Ms. Lorine Henley will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Peters Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Arnold officiating. Visitation will be from 6 -8 P.M.
