Murline Chapin

Murline Chapin, 89, of Alba passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in Grand Saline, Texas. Funeral service will be 10:00am Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Johnson Street Church of Christ with Randy Daw officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Valley Cemetery under the direction of Peters Funeral Home. Gathering of family and friends will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday at Peters Funeral Home. Murline was born October 25, 1926 in Quinlan to Joseph Hence Chapin and Mona Howard Chapin. She was a member of the Johnson Street Church of Christ. Murline spent her life making a safe and loving home for her and her children. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Windell Wallace of Celeste, Daymon Wallace and wife Kathy of Alba, and Dale Wallace and wife Linda of Hulbert, OK; daughter Ruby Skinner and husband Bill of Clarksville; 18 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; brother Orville Chapin; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Rita Rannie; brothers Clyde Chapin, Leon Chapin, and Thurman Chapin; sisters Norine Chapin, and Willene Forsyth.
