Mary Frances Isham, born on March 28, 1932, passed away peacefully in Greenville on January 9, 2026, at the age of 93. She was a remarkable woman, whose life was defined by her kindness, unwavering spirit, and commitment to her family.
Mary dedicated many years of her life to her career, serving as a lead machine operator at Wing Industries, where she was proud to retire after 20 years of service. Her work ethic was a testament to her dedication, and she carried that same commitment into every aspect of her life. Following her retirement, she took on the role of caretaker at Colonial Lodge, where her caring nature continued to shine.
Educated at Campbell High School, Mary was known for her sweet personality and her willingness to help anyone in need. Family gatherings were a source of great joy for her, and she loved creating memories with her large extended family. Her passions included spending time at the casino, watching football and baseball, and enjoying country music, all of which made her life vibrant and fulfilling.
Mary is survived by her loving family, including sisters, Linda Thompson and Glenda Maher; sons, Albert David Isham and Larry Jim Isham; daughter, Mary Elaine Evans; and a host of grandchildren: Jason Isham, Crystal Heath, Carrie Patrick, Courtney Pollard, Jimmy Isham, Kellie Isham, Leslie Isham, Josh Isham, Jonathan Miles, Tabatha Wilcox, Matthew Saragosa, and Rueban Saragosa. She also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Emmit and Lorene Bryant; her husband, Albert Dee Isham; her sister, Laura Tarrant; and her sons, Michael Wayne Isham, Eddy Merle Isham, and Kenneth Mark Isham. She was also mourned by her son-in-law, Bryan Keith Isham, and grandson, Steven Eric Isham, as well as great-grandson Eric Eugene Isham and granddaughter Marisssa Archer.
A funeral service to honor Mary Frances Isham will be held on January 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Peters Funeral Home in Greenville, Texas. Her family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate her extraordinary life. Mary’s legacy of love and dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
