A graveside service for Mary M. Goad, 82, will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Memory Land Memorial Park, in Greenville at 3:30 PM. A visitation will be held prior to the service at Peters Funeral Home from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Mary passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 in Desoto, TX. She was born on January 2, 1932 in Lubbock, TX to E.W. and Marjorie Eagan. Mary married Bob E. Goad on April 6, 1951, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was part of the Ladies Auxiliary of the BPOE Elks Lodge of Greenville, TX. Survivors include; son: Larry Goad, and wife, Kathy of Desoto; daughter, Darla Hunter, and husband Robin, of Desoto; brother, Mitch Eagan, and wife Marlene, of Olathe, KS; grandchildren: Rachel Napoli, and husband Steve, Sarah McClure, and husband Jay, Mary Gafford, and husband Travis, Dustin Hunter, and wife Laura, Hillary Stillwell, and husband Randall; great-grandchildren: Hannah and Elizabeth Napoli, Luke, Jeret, and Faith McClure, Riley Hunter, Wyatt, and Olivia Stillwell; nieces: Sherri Miller and Jamie Holland ; and nephew Steve Eagon. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Bob Goad and her parents.
