Margie Nell Quisenberry, 86, was born on May 30, 1939, and passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Margie was the very definition of perseverance, faith, and grace. After the death of her father, she left school in the 7th grade to help support her family—an early reflection of the selflessness that would define her life. Later, after raising her children, she returned to school, earning her GED and a nursing license. She went on to become one of the first individuals in Texas to take the state board nursing exam orally and was also recognized as the oldest plumbing apprentice in the state of Texas—proof that determination has no age limit.
A woman of deep faith, Margie loved the Lord wholeheartedly and lived her life as an earthly angel to all who knew her. She was endlessly positive, family-centered, and full of encouragement. She treasured time spent with her loved ones and always looked forward to her beloved domino games. Her proudest accomplishments were her family and the memories she created with them.
Margie found joy in ballroom dancing, cooking meals for her family, traveling, and gathering around the table for laughter and games. Though there are far too many cherished memories to list, each one is held close by those who loved her.
She is survived by her children: daughters Mary Williams and Treasa Woods; sons Grady Busby, Robert Busby, James Busby and Brad Quisenberry.
She also leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Luke, Margie, Shevaun, SueAnn, Franklin, John, Anthony, Kenneth, Jared, Kjerstie, Crystal, Christopher, Adam, Killian, Natasha, Brittney, Christina, Nichole, and Trey.
Margie was blessed with many great-grandchildren, including:
