Lisa Michelle Rogers, born on June 27, 1969, left this world on January 2, 2026. She was a remarkable individual known for her unwavering dedication to her family and the love she shared with those around her.
Lisa's journey through life was a testament to her hardworking nature. Although she faced challenges in her early education, having quit school in the 10th grade, she later pursued her GED and achieved great success by attending ATI nursing school, where she earned the highest GPA. This accomplishment reflected her commitment to self-improvement and her caring spirit.
Family was at the core of Lisa's life. She was a loving wife to Larry Dwain Rogers, Jr., with whom she shared a beautiful marriage of 23 years. Larry often referred to her as his soulmate and best friend, expressing how profoundly she impacted their lives. Together, they worked diligently to provide for their family, always looking after one another and welcoming others with open arms.
As a devoted mother and grandmother, Lisa took great pride in raising her three grandchildren. No matter how difficult times became, she ensured they had everything they needed and cherished every moment spent watching them grow. Her dedication to her grandchildren was one of her proudest achievements, and her love for them was boundless.
Those who knew Lisa remember her as a kind and generous person. She enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including fishing, going garage selling, cooking, and crafting. In her leisure time, she could often be found doing her nails, drawing, coloring, or watching her favorite show, Fear Factor, along with playing games on her phone.
Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Dwain Rogers, Jr.; her daughter, Michelle Hiller Ray Ross; her son-in-law, Brian Neal Ross; her brother, Brian Ross, and sister-in-law, Amanda Ross; her father-in-law, Larry Dwain Rogers, Sr.; her sisters-in-law, Amy Alain Searnio, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her adopted children, Travis Ontario Cox and Joanna Charlene Morrison-Cox, along with her stepsons Vicente Murillo, Casey Dwain Rogers, and Corey Allen Rogers, as well as stepdaughter Amber Rose Rogers Jones. She cherished her grandkids, Annissa Michelle Ross, James Bradley Jenkins, and Jerne Nichole Ross.
Lisa was predeceased by her parents Ruth Hiller Ross and Burton Ray Ross and her daughter, Brittany Nichole Ross, who resides in heaven.
In everyone's hearts who had the honor of knowing her, Lisa will always be remembered for her love, strength, and the lasting impact she made in their lives.
