Linda Sue Bendall Mann, age 70, of Lone Oak, passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 16, 2010 surrounded by her family at her home. She was born on February 14, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to Walter Edwin and Fay Etta (Norris) Little, they preceded her in death. Although Linda worked for what finally became known as Alcatel, an electronics manufacturer, her greatest work and source of joy was her family. She married Dr. James E. Mann on November 11, 2006, at the Wieland Church of Christ. Linda was born on Valentines Day, the day of love, and she carried that through her entire life. She devoted her time, energy, and love into her family. Mrs. Mann is survived by her husband Dr. James Mann; one daughter, Lisa A. Thompson of Lone Oak; sons, Michael H. Bendall of Greenville, Daniel Alan Bendall of Greenville, and Carroll Thompson of Lone Oak; one sister, Ann Barwick, and husband Morris, of Greenville; one brother, Joel Little, and wife Adele, of Garland; grandchildren, Courtney Pollard, and husband Casey, Breezy Thompson, Shasta Bendall, John Bendall, Daniel Bendall, and Vaughn Bendall; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Bendall, Brooklyn Petty, and Cason Pollard; and by numerous cousins, a niece, and nephews. Services for Mrs. Linda Mann will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the Wieland Church of Christ with Minister John Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Wieland Cemetery with James Allen, Daniel Bendall, Vaughn Bendall, Casey Pollard,Paul Jacobus, and Steve Jacobus . Visitation will be from 6 " 8 P.M., Friday evening at Peters Funeral Home in Greenville.
