Linda Faye Cagle

August 11, 1955 — April 4, 2026

Linda Faye Cagle was a super special lady who was born on August 11, 1955. She had the happiest smile when she was around puppies — especially her very own dog named Chip, who came to live with her a few years ago and was her bestest buddy. Linda loved Elvis music a lot and would get so excited watching her favorite classic TV shows and gameshows. She was also a big fan of puzzles, especially crossword puzzles, which she liked to solve again and again. Coloring books were another fun thing she did to keep busy and happy.

Linda loved spending time outside in her garden. You might have seen her planting tomatoes and watermelons, which were her favorite plants. She thought it was the best feeling to sit in the garden and watch everything grow. Going to the movies was something she enjoyed too, maybe to see exciting stories and pretty pictures on the big screen.

Visiting with people she cared about made Linda very joyful. She had a wonderful family who loved her so much! Her sister Barbara S. Nicholson was always there for her, and her nephew Michael R. Cagle, niece Vickie J. Cagle, and nephew Robert S. Cagle were really special to her. Linda’s family was big and happy with little ones like Tatum L. Cagle, her grand niece, Gavin Cagle, Dayton Cagle, Jace Cagle, her grand nephews, and even several great grand nieces and nephews. They all loved Linda for her kind heart and fun spirit.

Linda passed away on April 4, 2026, but she left behind so many nice memories about playing with Chip, solving tricky crosswords, listening to Elvis, and loving her family more than anything. Everyone who knew her will remember her smile and the way any puppy could make her face light up with happiness. Linda’s proudest moments were when she got to visit with her friends, sharing laughter and joy.

Even though Linda isn’t here anymore, her love for dogs, puzzles, movies, gardens, and family will stay in our hearts forever. She was a shining star who made the world a little brighter just by being herself. We will miss her lots, but we know she’s smiling somewhere, maybe with Elvis playing softly and Chip happily wagging his tail right next to her. Goodbye, Linda Faye Cagle – we love you!
