Leona Hanks

Leona Hanks, 92, of Corpus Christi passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehab in Corpus Christi. She was born October 9, 1923 in Waxahachie to Lonnie Hugle and Amanda Rose Phillips Hugle. Leona is survived by her daughters Barbara Lunsford of Corpus Christi, and Nancy Spencer of Korea; sons Winston Hanks of Corpus Christi, and Walton Hanks of Wichita Falls; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family will schedule a memorial service at a later date once all family is able to attend. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Peters Funeral Home in Greenville.
