LaRuth Downing Scruggs, age 90, of Farmersville passed away Sunday evening on November 1, 2020. LaRuth was born May 16, 1930 in Paducah Texas, the daughter of Willie Leland Downing and Mary Alice Vauhan.
LaRuth married Larry Scruggs in Lubbock Texas and they have two daughters, Mary Ann Murphy and Sheila Holt; grandchildren are Andrea Murphy, Carrie Marquis, and Aly Holt.
LaRuth is survived by her sister Joy Sue Mowtos and various neices and nephews.
LaRuth is preceded in death by her mother Mary Alice Vauhan and her father Willie Leland Downing.
