Karen Diane Connell, age 57, died of natural causes on January 10, 2021, in her apartment in Greenville Texas.
Karen was born on October 28, 1963 in Topeka, Kansas to her parents Don and Martha Connell. She went to public schools here in Greenville from the fourth grade through high school. She spent most of her adult life in medical billing management – both here in Greenville as well as in Dallas where she attained a managerial role.
Karen is survived by her son Joseph Wayne Akers, Jr., of Greenville Texas; her granddaughter Jacie Akers, of Greenville, Texas; her brothers Keith Connell of Groveland, Florida and Bill Connell of Mesquite, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents Don and Martha Connell.
Please no flowers. Donations in Karen's name can be made to the National Cancer Research Foundation or the Disabled American Veterans Fund. These can be sent to her son, Joe Akers, Jr at 4128 FM 118 Greenville, Tx 75401
