Johnny Wayne Milton, age 60, passed away on August 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on August 20, 1965, to John Beacher and Jackie Sue Milton.
Johnny graduated from Bland High School in 1984. He built a strong career through hard work and dedication, spending many years as a crane operator before retiring from Collin County as a heavy equipment operator. He also worked for Hunt County as a truck driver, where he made lasting friendships along the way.Known for his fun-loving and comical spirit, Johnny had a gift for making people laugh.
He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend whose greatest joy came from his family. His proudest moment in life was witnessing the birth of his daughter, Lindsey, and he treasured every moment of being her dad.Johnny found joy in the simple pleasures—riding his side-by-side down back roads, camping, spending time at the lake, and being surrounded by his family and friends, who he considered family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Milton; daughter, Lindsey Milton; brother, Jack Milton; bonus sons, Zachary and Dakota Taylor; bonus daughter, Morgan Howell; grandchildren, Eli Taylor and McKinley Taylor; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will carry his memory in their hearts.Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, John Beacher and Jackie Sue Milton, and his brother, James Milton.Johnny’s laughter, kindness, and love for life will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
