John Wesley Morrison

Jun 29, 1961 — Jul 25, 2026

Anna

John Wesley Morrison was born on June 29th, 1961 in Dallas, Texas, to his mother, Margaret Louise Morrison, and father Charlton Ray Morrison. John lived life as a true country boy. Whether he was racing cars, working at the wrecking yard, or on the ranch, fixing anything with a motor, and NEVER passing up a good garage sale deal. He was happiest when he was busy. He loved taking all the kids for rides on anything with wheels, and you could always find him wearing his signature white pocket T-shirt, Wrangler jeans with a Dr. Pepper in hand.

On March 24, 2004, John married the love of his life, Delda. Together they raised four boys along with multiple nieces and nephews who always knew they were welcome. Above all else, his greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren. He always showed them his undivided attention, love and never told them “no”. He taught an incredible work ethic and showed the value of making the most out of every opportunity. John could talk anyone into anything, and his legendary ability to lovingly aggravate those around him kept everyone laughing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charlton Ray Morrison; his mother, Margaret Louise Morrison; brother, Robert Lee Morrison; sister, Lola Mae Morrison; and niece Tammy Raye Morrison.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Delda Morrison, of Anna, Texas; his children, Tyson Wynn of Anna, Texas; Dakota and Kristy Brownings of Mead, Oklahoma; Christian Morrison of McKinney, Texas; and Colton and Kaitlyn Pearson of Anna, Texas; his sister, Cindy Fronterhouse of McAlester, Oklahoma; his 10 beloved grandchildren; multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many more family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
