John Fallen, Sr.

John Wayne Fallen, Sr., age 67, of Greenville, passed in the early morning hours of Thursday, September 16, 2010 at his home. He was born on November 22, 1942 in San Francisco, CA to John Mills and Virginia Violet Fallon, they preceded him in death. Mr. Fallen served his country in the United Sates Marines. He married Jean Ann Cochrane on May 18, 1963 in Garden Grove, CA., she survives after 47 years of marriage. Mr. Fallen believed in the values of hard work and raising his family. Many times he would work two and three jobs to support his family. Throughout his life, John enjoyed working and fishing. He also spent countless hours with his friends as a member of the VFW but his happiest he would say were spent with his family. John is survived by his wife Jean, three daughters, Andrea Colburn of Lansing, MI, Vicky Wetteland of Quinlan, Roberta Fallen of Lansing, MI, one son, John W. Fallen, Jr. of Mascoutah, IL, and ten grandchildren. A memorial service for Mr. Fallen will be held at 10AM, Monday, September 20, 2010 at Peters Funeral Home with Bro. David Hammond officiating.
