John Francis Dotson, 83, of Royse City passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Royse City. Inurnment will take place in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Peters Funeral Home.
John was born November 5, 1932 in McKinney, Texas to Horace A. Dotson and Ruth Irene Cotter Dotson. He worked at Mustang Rebuilders in Garland and with Stewart Engineering as a draftsman. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons Rickey Paul Dotson and wife Debbie of Royse City, and Keith Francis Dotson of Yantis; granddaughter Danielle Taylor Dotson; sister Estelle Johnston. John was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Dotson; sister Vera; brother Horace.
