Jessie Grace Mulder Woodbridge passed peacefully away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the age of 101. Jessie was born on March 6, 1912 to Joe E. and Josie Giles in Melissa, Texas. Jessie began her working life picking cotton in and around her home town. From there, she migrated to Dallas where she worked at Titches-Goettinger Department store as a corset fitter in the Ladies Apparel Department for several years. Following this, Jessie worked for many years as a bankteller and Customer Service representative at the Republic Bank in Dallas. Jessie would meet and later marry J. Frank Mulder on July 4, 1931. Frank and Jessie would have two sons, Frank and Bill Mulder. In later years, Jessie met and married Luther Frank Woodbridge and was a member of the Highland Terrace Baptist Church in Greenville, Texas for many years. Always activie, Jessie loved music and loved to dance. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and visiting with various people she would meet. But most of all Jessie loved being with her family. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. They were what mattered to her the most. They were her true passion and love. She will truly be missed. Jessie is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Josie Giles; husbands J. Frank Mulder and L. Frank Woodbridge; sisters Mary Lou Johnson and Ruth Thompson; son Joe Frank Mulder; ,daughter-in-law Barbara Mulder and her granddaughter Mary Lou Mulder. Those left to celebrate her amazing life include her son, J. Bill Mulder and his wife Toledo; granchildren Carl Mulder, Sabrina Bonds, Cindy Furr and Michael Mulder; seventeen great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; as well numerous extended family members and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 21 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will follow on the same day at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Intermenet will be at Stoney Point Cemetery in Melissa Texas late that day.
