Jasmine Harless

Jasmine Harless, 98, of Leonard passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Leonard Manor.

Jasmine was born in Wagner on May 23, 1920 to William Russell and Mitte Rebecca Jane Paden Jones. She was a homemaker but also owned the Gift Shop in Downtown Celeste and she briefly worked at Hennington Publishing. Jasmine married L.W. Harless on June 30, 1941 in Dixon. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2002.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Cynthia Jameson and husband, Danny; grandchildren Stacy Davis, Joshua Jameson, Colette Paris, Shannon Wright, and Jess Lanier; great-grandchildren Lindsey Davis, Tyler Smith, Trent Smith, Mason Paris, Brenlee Wright, River Wright, Jaxon Lanier, Jaycie Lanier, and Jacob Lanier. She was preceded in death by daughter Paula Lanier; son-in-law Lloyd Lanier; sister Primrose Lake; and brother Basil Jones.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Rick Henslee officiating. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.Visitation will be held Monday, July 2 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Peters Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingston Church of Christ.
