Janice Mead

Janice Veronica Mead, 77, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in Farmersville, Texas. Janice was born October 23, 1934, the daughter of Fred and Veronica Purdy in Yonkers New York. She married Ira Gene Mead in 1956 and moved to Greenville in 1976. She owned and operated the Country Tack and Feed Store for 8 year along with Mead Technology in Greenville with her husband Gene. Those left to celebrate her life include her sister Edith Uboldi and husband Russ of Florida; sons, Timothy Mead and wife Teresa of Shawnee Ok, and Thomas Mead and wife Drinda of Ladonia, TX; daughters, Veronica Miller and husband Ed of Jefferson City, MO, and Kimberly Johnson and husband Tommy of Caddo Mills, TX; seven grandchildren, Jesse Lay, Josh Lay, Ricky Mead, Justin Mead, Bryson Mead, Darin Bryce, and Tara Hogue; three great-grandchildren; Natalia Mead, Aundrea, and Bently, as well as a host of friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by both parents. She is loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
