Jane Marylynn Loeb, née Jacobs, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, in Royse City, Texas. She was born on October 4, 1939, in Buffalo, New York to Fred Edward Jacobs and Eleanore Mae (Kerr) Jacobs.

Jane was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She spent her life as a caregiver and is remembered as a person who was always caring for others before herself. She loved listening to music, particularly Elvis Presley. Other hobbies included typing and watching old westerns. Jane was always cooking, and was well-known for baking zucchini bread. Nana loved to read her Bible and go bowling. She was proudest of her family. She loved Jesus first and foremost, followed by her family, grandkids, great-grandkids, and her cat.

She is remembered fondly by her loving family. Among those who survive her are her daughter-in-law, Karen Loeb; grandsons, Michael Loeb and Bryan Loeb; granddaughters, Tammy Loeb-Turner and Jessica Loeb; her sister, Dianne Miller; her niece, Linda Richards; her sister-in-law, Judi Pavel; and Darrin Turner; along with many great-grandchildren.

Jane was predeceased by her parents, Fred Edward Jacobs and Eleanore Mae (Kerr) Jacobs, her late husband Harry Loeb, her beloved son, Robert Dean Loeb, and her sister, Eleanore Raux..

Jane’s influence will live on through those whose lives she touched, and her spirit will be carried forward in the laughter, love, and unity of her family. Her story is not just one of years, but of the many lives illuminated by her kindness and strength. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
