Floyd Cox

Floyd Ervin Cox, 87, of Quinlan passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019, in Greenville. Floyd was born in Chandler, Texas on March 4, 1932 to Johnny Middleton and George Lucille Cox. He served in the United States Army and was a mechanic.

Those left to cherish his memory are daughters, Melanie Jones, Donna Kirby; son, Chris Cox (Peggy); son-in-laws, Charlie Jones, Keith Kirby;grandchildren, Derrick Johnson, Dante Johnson, Autumn Jones, Brandon Jones, Christine Cox; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Cox; numerous other family and friends.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, son, Allen Cox and granddaughter Jessica Cox Ringer.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Peters Funeral Home.
