Dorothy Sue Estes, age 65, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 5, 2010 at her home. She was born on November 11, 1944 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Martin Jewel and Etter May Estes, they preceded her in death. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenville. She spent her time singing in the choir and helping in any way that she could. When not at church, Dorothy loved to read books, draw, and cook. Her tender care and loving nature will be missed by all who knew her. Dorothy is survived by one sister, Virginia Hindman of Lubbock; nieces, Rita Clark, and husband David, of Kopperl, TX, Debra Moore of Greenville, Debra DeBoard of Lubbock, Nancy Constancio of Lubbock, and Darlene Massey of Ft. Worth; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie Estes, and one sister, Mary Joyce Dillon. Services for Miss Estes will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 9, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Greenville with Pastor Terry Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 " 8 P.M. Thursday evening at Peters Funeral Home.
