Delores White

Delores White, born on January 4, 1940, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, in Merit, Texas. She was a beloved member of her family and community.

She is survived by those who will hold her memory close. Her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Dennis Moore of Merit, Texas, stand beside her legacy. Her children—Robert and Diana Celland of Wills Point, Texas; Burt and Sharon White of Winnsboro, Texas; Deborah Grubbs of Farmersville, Texas; and Margaret Chadwick of Greenville, Texas—carry on her spirit through their lives. 

Delores also found joy in the company of eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren who will remember her stories, love, and kindness. A large extended family, including Arliena Hickman (a special niece and her devoted caretaker), celebrates her life and the many ways she touched theirs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tandy White, her son, Tandy Clyde White, her parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Though they are no longer with us, their memories remain a cherished part of her life.
