Deena Grimes

Deena Rae Grimes, 69, of Greenville, passed away Saturday May 19, 2018.

Deena was born in San Rita, NM on October 15, 1948 to Kenneth and Selma Sparks Blancett. She married Jimmy Lee Grimes on May 6, 1981 in Silver City, NM, he preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory are children, Patsy Sims, Charley Grimes (Debra); grandchildren Amanda Sims, Lisa Florez, Garred Sims, Sammie Jo Ham, Jeremy Crutcher and Ashley Crutcher; 8 great grandchildren; sisters Anna Morton, Georiga Wethington, Barbara Rope; sister-in-law Judy Blancett; nine nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jerry Blancett; and two nephew.
