Cynthia Jean Jones

Cynthia “Cindy” Jones, born November 29, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas, to Donald and Shirley Liscum, passed away on September 4, 2025.

Cindy loved her family with all her heart and was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She cherished the time spent caring for her nieces and nephews, creating lasting memories by taking them on outings and capturing special moments in photos. Being a mother to her two sons was her greatest joy—watching them grow into loving, caring men and seeing her eldest marry filled her with pride.

Cindy had a green thumb and took great pleasure in tending to her garden and plants. She especially loved decorating for the holidays, filling her home with warmth and joy through her cooking and baking of holiday treats. Family game nights, gatherings, and time spent with her beloved pets were among her favorite moments.

She is survived by her loving husband, Spencer Jones; her sons, Nathan Jones and wife Lauren, and Dillon Jones; her brothers, Donnie Liscum and Charles Liscum; her sisters, Deborah Sanders and Peggy Mantooth; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann Griffin, and father, Gerald Ray Griffin.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
