Consuelo Ortega

Consuelo Rodriguez Ortega, 83, of Greenville passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at her residence. Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Peters Funeral Home.

Consuelo was born September 5, 1932 in Mexico to Ramon Rodriguez and Maria Rodriguez Ortega. She loved and cared for her family providing them a safe and happy home. She married Oscar Valdez in 1949 and he preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Rosa Valdez of Greenville, and Guadalupe Valdez of San Antonio; nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters.
