Christine Bowers

Christine “Mickey” Bowers, of Quinlan, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 in Greenville. Mickey was born on November 11, 1936 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to Samuel Cecil and Carrie Christine (Leggett) Hargis.

Mickey never met a stranger and loved telling stories and jokes to all. Many became her family and would call her Gma and GG. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Mickey is survived by her daughter, Diana Cei; grandchildren, Sara, Samantha, Amanda, Garret; great-grandchild, Logan; sisters, Sylvia Smith, Cheri Russell; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and very close friends.

Mickey is preceded in her death by her parents; son, Michael Cei (2005); and sister, Phyllis Laymen (1982).
