Charles Watson

Charles Gene Watson, 64, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 in Greenville, Texas. Charles was born to Abraham and Bernice Watson on November 27, 1949 in Burkburnett, Texas. Charles met and later married Carolyn. Charles served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. Charles wore many hats during his life. He was a self-employed painter, an administrative assistant with Perot Industries and a school teacher. Charles favorite hat was son and brother. Charles loved his family and loved being among friends. He will truly be missed. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Bernice; his beloved wife Carolyn and his brother Nelson Watson. Those left to celebrate his life include his son, Joshua Watson and his wife Brittaney; brother, William Dale Mauck and his wife Annette; sisters,Vicky Kemp and her husband Billy, Allison Hedgewood and her husband James and Kim Bruce; step-father James Messick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family friends and neighbors. A celebration of Charles' life will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Park Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Greenville, Texas.
