Charles Beggs

Charles Allen Beggs, age 66, of Greenville, passed away January 30, 2011. He was born on March 4, 1944 in Commerce, the son of Allen Albert and Mildred Fay (Ford) Beggs. Charles married Connie Neessen who preceded him in death on January 2, 2010. Charles was a propane technician for Greenville Automatic Gas Company. He was a member of the Gold Prospecting Club and enjoyed hunting and was a gun enthusiast. Charles served his country in the United States Navy. The family requests donations be made to in his memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation. Charles is survived by his sisters, Dorothy Beggs of Greenville and Brenda George and husband Richard of Campbell; niece, Amanda George-Walewski and husband Edward of Garland; nephew, Jason George of Campbell; uncle, Billy Ford and wife Jean of Greenville; aunt, Clara Hazel Moles of Dallas. His funeral service will be Thursday, February 3, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Peters Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow the service at Humbolt Cemetery on FM 2736, Neylandville. Visitation with family will be Wednesday, February 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
