Bonnie Leroy

Bonnie Ann Leroy, age 63, of Greenville, passed away in the late evening hours of Thursday, July 16, 2009 at her home. She was born on January 9, 1946 in Greenville to Bain M. and Bonnie Charlene (Chambliss) Mitchell, they precede her in death. Bonnie was employed with the Hunt County Appraisal District and worked as a tax appraiser. She enjoyed her work and shopping but she truly the loved the time she spent with her family. She is survived by two sons, James W. Moore, and wife Tina, of Emory and Bernice Allen Moore, and wife Sherri, of Magnolia, TX; three sisters, Doris Carroll of Baytown, TX, Betty Roscoe of Dallas, and Donna McBride of Greenville; two brothers, Richard Mitchell of Gladewater, TX and Michael Lee of Caddo Mills; and grandchildren, Christopher James Moore, Bryan Allen Moore, Brandon Tyler Moore, and Amanda Renae Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Leroy. Services for Bonnie Leroy will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery with Chris Moore, Bryan Moore, Brian Buchanan, Rodney Rogers, Brent South, Billy Jones, and Don Spencer serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 " 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
