With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Billie-Jo Danielle Orlando, who was born on November 30, 1985, and entered eternal rest on September 9, 2026.
Billie-Jo was a happy-go-lucky soul who had a beautiful way of bringing joy to those around her. She was a selfless person who always put others before herself and was willing to offer love, kindness, and support whenever someone needed it. Her caring heart and cheerful spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Billie-Jo’s faith in Jesus was one of the most important parts of her life. She was proud of her faith and found comfort and strength in her relationship with the Lord. She loved to pray and carried that faith with her throughout her life. Her faith was a reflection of the love and hope she shared with others.
Billie-Jo enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved swimming, taking small vacations, spending time with family and friends, and, of course, shopping for anything and everything related to the Dallas Mavericks, as she was a devoted fan. Her dogs, Faith and Sweet Pea, held a very special place in her heart and brought her tremendous love and companionship.
Billie-Jo leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, faith, and kindness that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her aunt, Donna Dostilio; uncle, Dominick Wollek; adopted father, Peter Kennedy; cousins, Peter Kennedy II, Michael Kane, Joellyn Kennedy, and Christian “Tiffany” Dostilio; and her fiancé, Daniel Rowell, Frank Kane; brother in law.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gilda Bloom; father, Frank Orlando; adopted mother and aunt, Joann Kennedy; and adopted brother and sister, Kristine Kennedy-Kane and Joseph Kennedy.
Though Billie-Jo’s time on earth has come to an end, the love she gave, the prayers she prayed, and the joy she brought into the lives of others will never be forgotten. May she rest peacefully in the presence of her Savior, knowing she was deeply loved and will forever be missed.
